We have long required the users to jump through hoops (domain added to Compatibility View settings, Trusted Site inclusion, Low internet security (I know) etc). IE5-8) and only now are we able to rewrite for the future. Long story very short: the software my company supports was written for IE over 20 years ago and is comprised of a multitude of varying compatible levels (i.e. With brand new instances of Windows 11 - not upgraded from Windows 10 - there is no more Compatibility View settings option for Internet Explorer. Apologies if this post is bad, I'm not the savviest of web troubleshooters and only marginally a developer.
